I had an outstanding stay at this charming cottage. The location was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by stunning scenery. The property was spotlessly clean and had plenty of space. It had all the amenities I needed and even little extras like teabags and thermos flasks. The owners clearly cared about their guests' safety with hand sanitizers in every room. I also loved the file with the history of the cottage, providing interesting reading material. The walks in the area were fantastic, regardless of the weather. I felt comfortable and welcomed throughout my stay. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed hiking nearby, but had to pay for parking. Free WiFi was a plus, although the washing machine was a bit tricky to use. Close to Bowness-on-Windermere and Buttermere for day trips. Towels were provided, thank goodness!
Paying for parking, frustrating washing machine.

The location was stunning, with beautiful views of the countryside from every window. The cottage had a charming olde worlde atmosphere that we adored, and the furnishings were unique and comfortable. The shower was great, and we also enjoyed the outside space for relaxing. The history of the house added an extra touch of wonder to our stay. we highly recommend this accommodation for a memorable and cozy getaway.
There were a few minor drawbacks. The bath had a small chip around the plug hole, so we decided not to give our baby a bath.
